Coach Christopher has over four years of teaching experience as a tennis coach and is a member of the USTA (United States Tennis Association). He participated in recreational tennis before joining the USTA; this helped him learn the basics for on-court play.

He then made a significant upgrade by competing at tournaments and competitive tennis. He specializes in outdoor lessons.

He is currently rated at Men’s 4.5 and takes part predominantly in the Men’s Open division and Men’s 30s division in the USTA Texas Section.

Don Johnson lives in Missouri City, Texas, which is about 20 miles from Houston. He is a PTR Certified Tennis Professional for 20 years with the PTR (Professional Tennis Registry) and has been a tennis tutor for more than 30 years. He only offers outdoor lessons.

Johnson started out teaching junior tennis players in the Portland and Vancouver metro area. 

He co-founded a kid’s tennis company in 1987, and partnered with community, regional and national organizations to promote the sport of tennis, health, nutrition, and education.

This includes the USTA (United States Tennis Association), Portland After School Tennis and Education (P.A.S.T.E.), the PTR (Portland Parks & Recreation) as well as local schools and businesses and others.
